Avenue West Gallery

              907 West Boone Ave.

                Spokane Wa. 99201

Avenue West presents “In Remembrance” a retrospective honoring the life and work of founding member Dian Zahner. The opening reception will be held Friday, November 3, from 5 to 8 pm. Music will be provided by Lazy Boy Express. The exhibit continues through the end of November.
Dian helped start Avenue West Gallery in 2003. She was a guiding light for our organization. She served as presdent several times and was our original publicity person. Unofficially she was the Gallery's primary  link to the greater Spokane art scene and was responsible for many of our featured guest artists.
She was a fabulous weaver and fiber artist as well as a talented watercolor artist and creator of paper jewelry.

She was a past president of the Spokane Watercolor Society and the current president of the Avenue West Gallery co-op at the time of her death. She was a teacher in Michigan before moving to Spokane.  She taught in many venues and capacities in the Spokane area.
Please stop in to the gallery that Dan helped to create and put so much time and energy into, to see a show honoring her and her work!
