The Artists
    Lee McLeron  | Needle Arts

Lee's work is done with silk and metallic threads on canvas and is called Needleart.  It is creating images with threads and a needle.  In the world of Needleart cross stitch is not looked on with favor.  Most of it is considered a craft and while some of it is done on linen mostly it is on aida cloth or even weave fabric.

Lee is a member of the Embroiderers' Guild of America, Inc. and is a Certified Judge.  She holds several awards for stitching and has stitched by invitation for a publication for the Peabody Essex Museum in Salem, MA. Her work is also included in  the NASA Museum in Mississippi. Lee also stitches the traditional Japanese Silk Embroidery that you see on Kimonos.
